SHAISHAV KUNJ
The walls are covered with artwork and meaningful messages done by the residents. Shaishav Kunj houses both abandoned or homeless orphans and senior citizens. The facility and its resources are funded by local businesses.
ARTWORK
A favorite activity of the children is art projects. In addition to painting the walls of their home, they create models, crafts, and toys. They use supplies from donors and recyclable scraps that they find.
FACILITY
The living conditions at Shaishav are unhygienic and crowded, as is most of India. The staff do their best to contribute their donations equally among living, resources, and education. They often hold sessions with all the children where they learn things like yoga or sports.
EDUCATION
The children learn in small classrooms with limited resources. Volunteers teach their minimal number of classes. Recently, they were able to install a new computer lab, and the older kids learn how to use programs like PowerPoint and Word.
